Detection Systems

  • Sky Radio 2 is an Operational System to be mounted on mobile equipment,  to help the remote detection of remote medium and high voltage overhead electric lines in Free Fileds.
  • SkyRadio communicate with up to 9 independent sensors mounted on different parts of the machine, to help the detection of High-Voltage lines. Each sensor include an independent radio transmitter/receiver module, which communicates Wireless continuously with the Central Processor Unit (CPU). The radio communication is held secure by scanning the radio channel to detect any interference. The CPU work with an antenna mounted on the vehicle roof and include an internal clock, that enable time-stamping of all the memorised information.
  • Radio communication is secured by scanning radio channels to detect and avoid possible disturbances.
  • SKY RADIO warns the operator by an audible signal and a warning light when high lift equipment approaches a 15 kV medium-voltage line at a distance of less than three meters or a 50 kV (or higher) line at a distance of less than 5 meters.
  • A remote module enables the user to receive a warning signal at a distance of up to 100 m.

  • NF EN 50082-1 : EMC
  • NF EN 61010-1 : Safety requirements for electrical equipment
  • MADE declines any responsibility should this equipment be used without conforming to the manufacturers specifications.
  • MADE cannot be held responsible for an accident by contact with high-voltage lines, given the large diversity of specific cases encountered in the field (The measurements are calibrated in a free field).
